Feature request: plate map widget

Hi,

In anticipation of IJC being able to handle raw assay data it would be nice to have functionality for handling assay plates. I can imagine a widget with rows and columns representing a plate with wells, where the wells contain compound Batch IDs, which are tied to structures through an appropriate relationship. It would be great if one could switch to showing structures also, as in the molecule matrix widget. It should be possible to have empty wells. In addition it would be powerful if one could color code the wells based on activity data from an assay, resembling a heat map. The underlying plate information could just be stored in a regular table, with Plate IDs, Row IDs, Column IDs, and Batch IDs.

I have filed a feature request for this idea in our issue tracking system. We will certainly look into it, but I can not promise any certain time when the feature would be implemented.
