Redefining URL fields

Hi,

Once a URL field has been added to a database, the field definition (i.e. the URL) cannot be modified via 'Customize Widget Settings -> Field Definition tab'. Why not? If one makes a mistake in the URL the only way to fix it it to remove the URL column and create a new one.

you made a good point. That is current deficit of URL fields. It is long time a known issue.
