TPSAPlugin licence key not accepted

I am using the JChem academic package, but it's not accepting the licence key I was given for the TPSAPlugin. I tried:

license chemaxon.marvin.calculations.TPSAPlugin xxx

where xxx is the key I was given, but it gives the following error:

java.io.IOException: Incorrect license key name / value specified.

It's accepted all the other keys. How can I get the TPSAPlugin to work?

Hi,

From Marvin 4.1 (JChem 3.2) version TPSAPpugin is free, so you don't need a license key to use it.

Hi,

When I use generatemd -k TPSA, I get:

No valid license key has been found for TPSAPlugin.

The maximal number of calls (1) without a license key has been reached.

Is this a restriction of the academic package?

Thanks

It is not a limitation in the academic package, all products are licensed. The only limitation is the number of searches/min that can be performed with JChem Base/Cartridge

Hi,

It seems that if TPSA is used as descriptor, then license key is still required. This is a bug, we will correct it in the next version.

Till then: You can set the license key by editing the .chemaxon/licenses.dat (Unix) or chemaxon\licenses.dat (Windows) file under the user's home directory, and it will work.

See Managing License Keys documentation for more.
