How Do I Run cxcalc?

I have very little experience in coding and need to use cxcalc to run attributes on molecules. I am using a Windows 8.

When I try to open the cxcalc.bat file under ChemAxon/MarvinBeans/bin, it opens up the Terminal briefly (but I can't type in anything) and then it quickly scrolls past something too quick to see, and then automatically shuts down the Terminal window. So I can't exactly run it or do anything with it. I have an academic license. 

How do I run cxcalc?

Open a terminal window (command prompt), then use 'cd' to navigate to the bin/ dir then you can run cxcalc. Without further command line attributes it prints a command line help.
