hello,
i am a student and my chemistry class is using wileyplus software. wileyplus uses marvin sketch to draw the molecules but i cannot get mine to run on my laptop. i have the newest java software and im running windows 7 64bit. i keep getting a message that says:

classnotfoundexception
chemaxon.marvin.applet.jmsketchlaunch

i downloaded marvin beans and the applet package and cant get it to work. please help, i need to complete assignments quickly. their due dates are appraoching.

Could you delete the Java cache please! And try to run the applet again? May I ask what is the version of your JAVA and what kind of browser do you use?

Thanks for the help. I updated my java platform to the newest update and i have deleted my java cache.  i usually like to run google chrome but i couldn't get it to work on Firefox either, same error message. And i feel really dumb saying this but how do i run the applet?

I am a student in an organic chemistry course which uses Marvin Sketch for MasteringChemistry. I have encountered similar problems. It says ClassNotFound Exception and chemaxon.marvin.applet.JMSketchLaunch.

I am trying to follow above (delete JAVA cache) ... but i was wondering if you can help me since I too don't really konw how to run the applet...

Thank you. If you can help me with this, it would be great help, so i don't have to depend on my friend's laptop to do my assignments >_<

it turned that it was my antivirus software that was stopping marvin sketch from working properly and stopping the applet. try shuting off your antivitus protection and see if that works
