Chemical drawing styles

I'm having difficulty in MarvinSketch in drawing standard structures in ACS format.  The font size by default should be 10 pt to match this format, but the program displays a font that is at least 7 pt and maybe smaller.  Also, the bond lengths are too long for this format.  I've tried to change to another standard journal format for chemical drawing, but MarvinSketch doesn't seem to change the on screen structure to mimic any chosen format.  In addition, this behavior prevents me from using Marvin to make chemical structures and reactions for publication purposes, because the journals immediately recognize that the chemical drawings are nonstandard.  What can I do to constrain MarvinSketch to draw all structures in standard ACS format?  If this can be done, MarvinSketch could easily replace ChemDraw for most applications.  Thanks!

Dear Greg,

We are aware of this problem and currently working on it. However, due to lack of capacity, I cannot promise  when it will be fixed.

I think it is a shame to not to fix a major font and style deficiency while continually updating the other capabilities of the program.  Unless you have the basics under control and working well, no amount of feature loading will overcome the fundamental problem with the software.  An otherwise great chemical drawing program is being severely handicapped by a lack of attention to this critical detail.  Let's hope it won't take another few years of procrastinating before someone actually has the energy to fix this problem!

I am glad to inform you that Marvin version 6.4 will contain the fix.
