If I select a C atom that has no label, a C label appears, but the implicit H atoms do not appear in the label as well. See the screen shot. Either the C should not appear, or the label should appear as CH or CH2 (or just C if it is a quaternary C.)

I can see your point here, however it would be confusing if the label appears as CH or CH2, when someone set the displaying "Implicit Hydrogens" option off. Not displaying the C would be a good solution, but it needs a major refactoring of the code and we do not have the capacity to do it for 5.10.

OK, so if someone has turned off the display of all implicit H atoms, then don't show the H atoms. Otherwise (most of the time), do.
