Hey Guiy

I have a question about Marvinsketch. if i draw a molecule and want to copy it as png into Pages the brackets for repeating a molecule structure  appear green if i paste it. Is there any Solution that the brackets appear black?

Also there is a problem with these brackets when i have something like CH2. there is connection between the C Atoms and the H-Atom is under the C Atom. If i put a reputation bracket on it it crosses the H- Atom and the only solution is hiding the H-Atoms, is there any option for writing the H in line that the output is like :"CH3-CH2-CH3" ?

Greetings,

Daniel

Indeed, the bracket is green on the pasted picture.

Until this bug is fixed, I can recommend the following workaround:

  1. Save the structure as a PNG image.

  2. Open PNG image in an image editor.

  3. Select the relevant part of the image and copy it.

  4. Paste the clipboard content into Paste or into the desired application.

The second issue is not clear for me. Can you send a snapshot that demonstrates this case when bracket crossing the hydrogen(s).

is there no other option for exporting the structure, because i have to write the structure as fast as possible, and exporting the structure as png and selcting the relevant part needs to much time.

the problem with the hydrogen you can see in the attachment.

I have no other idea.

How you created the attached png? Can you send the molecule source (mrv) that is rendered like this?

Hi,

You can enlarge the bracket: if you move the mouse over the corner, you will see small circles what you can drag to resize. See the attached file.
