Error with marvin.mytemplates

Hi,

I have just installed marvinsketch on my macbook (recent OS) but when I try to open it I have the following message of error:

Error reading template set location: marvin.mytemplates

 

Any clue to fix the problem are welcome!

which version did you install?

There were such an issue in earlier releases, but it should have been fixed now. Maybe this is a bug, and we will test it, meanwhile you can avoid the issue, by creating a .chemaxon folder in your home directory - if it had not created yet - and create a marvin.mytemplates file which should contain the following:

<cml>
<MDocument>
</MDocument>
</cml>

I installed (at least I tried!) marvinbeans-5.5.1.0-macos.dmg
There is no .chemaxon folder in my home directory...

Hi,

I have created the folder and put the right file in it and it works... I have to open marvinspace first and then I can open marvinsketch.

Do I miss other files for a proper use?

Hi,

As far as i know, the other files are created automatically, and Marvin does not have such issues with creating them initially.
