Intelligent double and triple bond drawing

Hi,

how can I turn on the intelligent double and triple bond adding, one mouse click - single bond,

two mouse clicks - double bond, three mouse clicks triple bon, one additional mouse click, single bond,

and loop single, double, triple, with each mouse click (also for hetero atoms)?

 

All other options require moving the mouse to select the bond type (annoying) and

click the mouse (very annoying). If there is no such option, why not inlcude it?

If there is such an option where is it hidden?

Hi Tobias,

It is turned on by default. Please make sure that you do not move your mose between the clicks, then it should work.

An alternative easy way to set the bond type to double or triple: move the mouse over the bond, then hit the 2 or 3 key, respectively.

Hi,

it was my (fault). I always activate the lasso by default to not destroy things,

but I checked, once the single bond tool is activated, it lest me add double and triple bonds.
