Disappearing arrows

I wrote a reaction and used the "single arrow" but when I re-open the .mol, they are gone along with the text above.  How can I fix this?  Is there a certain format it should be saved as?  I am using a macbook pro with snow leopard (10.6)

If you save a reaction to MOLFile, it should be saved as RXN, so when Marvin opens it, it should retain the reaction arrow. But if you used a real reaction arrow, then the MOLFile type would not be offered on the Save As list, so you should have explicitly defined the .mol extension (which results in a file containing RXN), and I guess you didin't do that, so I assume you used the graphical Single Arrow. Graphical objects are not saved into MOLFile (only into Mrv, Skc or Cdx), but if you really want to draw a single step reaction, I recommend to use the Single Reaction Arrow instead, and then you will be able to save your sketch to MOLFile.
