InChI image stereochemistry

Hi,

We are generating images from InChI strings and have noticed that we are not getting any stereochemistry (even when viewing in MarvinSketch). Is this because we are missing some options or is it a deficiency in the software.

I am using MolImporter.importMol(). We can get stereo when generating an image from the MOL file the InChI was generated from, as well as the SMILES generated from the same MOL.

For example the following InChI when viewed in another software package such as ChemDraw has stereochemistry (wedge bonds) but when viewed in Marvin it does not:

InChI=1S/C18H24O2/c1-18-9-8-14-13-5-3-12(19)10-11(13)2-4-15(14)16(18)6-7-17(18)20/h3,5,10,14-17,19-20H,2,4,6-9H2,1H3/t14-,15-,16+,17+,18+/m1/s1

thanks

Richard

Hi Richard,

Yes, You are right we had problems with stereochemistry when importing 0d inchis (inchis without AuxInfo, all if all coordinates are 0), we are working on the problem and we will fix it very soon.

Best Regards,

Peter
