Hi all.
When I try to open a file (in .sdf format) in Marvin Sketch in fedora 8 through the "File" menu button, the drop down menu appears but the "open" option is not functioning. However I am able to open an image file(png) through "open image" option. I dont know why such thing is happening.
Any suggestion will be appreciated.

We could not reproduce the issue.
Can you give more information about your software environment?
- Java version
- Marvin version
- window manager (gnome or kde)
Are you sure that you use Sun distributed Java? Marvin does not support IcedTea and other alternative Java implementations.
Are you sure that all jars that is required for Marvin are available? The full content of the "lib" directory of Marvin Beans package is required for running Marvin applications.
