problems with structure templates and "Tools" menu

I have just installed 5.3.4 version on my website. I cannot use any of the structures from the "rings" template. They will highlight, but will not draw in the applet.

Also, I cannot open "Tools" menu. It will highligt but will show no options.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

would you confirm that the marvin_codebase/xjars directory is there with the applet, and contains the xml files that are required for the Calculator Plugins to show up in the menu? They have to be there and have to be reachable by the applet for the Tools menu to appear correctly.

Can you tell me how did you tried to use the rings templates, because i tried to use them from Insert->Template Library menu, and it worked for me.

 The "marvin" directory contains xjars subdirectory (with all the "property plug-ins") if that is what you are referring to. The "rings template shows "under" the drawing space and the individual structures can be highlighted, but not drawn.

after checking the site, it seem to be a server confiuration issue...

it seems, the files under the xjars folder are not accessible for the applet itself, and therefore it can not load the applet_codabase/chemaxon/isotopes.data and the properties files from the xjars directory.

Since you are using IIS you should check this link, it will help i think.
