long chains

I have drawn a long chain with 17 carbons. I want it to read C17H35 rather than see the long chain but want it to be able to connect it to another molecule. Is it possible ? Thanks

just type c17h35 on the keyboard then click the canvas. You can change an existing atom this way as well, just put the mouse cursor over the atom and type.
