shortcuts to generic query atoms

We are trying to customize the sketcher so that it is easier for the user to add a generic query atom (A, Q, etc.) to a molecule.

At the moment, the user has to open up the periodic system dialog box, then click the "Advanced" tab, then find the A or Q button, click it, click "Close" and then click on the sketcher.

Is it possible to add these choices to a menu, right-click menu or toolbar?

We plan to implement it, but until that:

Marvin has an implemented panel for the Reaxys Generics, which can be customized to be able to use from menu, contextual (popup) menu or toolbar. It can be found in the Insert Template category on the Customize dialog, and it even has a toolbar icon. (You should add it to the Atom popup menu to have it available when right-clicking on an atom.)
