Cropping an image

Hi,

I just started using Marvin and it's an amazing package.  I'm saving images from MarvinSketch and it's been frustrating dealing with the amount of empty space in the saved images.

Is there a way to crop images in Marvin?  The document size dialog doesn't help as it simply scales the entire image.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

When you submit the Save as Image option from the MarvinSketch GUI, Marvin captures the content of the current canvas. If the molecule does not fill out the whole canvas, the empty space can be big.

I recommend to detach the edited structure in MarvinView (Edit/Open MarvinView 2D) save the structure in the MarvinView dialog. In default, MarvinView uses the best scale to display the structure.

Great, that works perfectly and saved me a lot of frustration, trying to find another program that could do the job while keeping the image quality high.  Thank you very much!
