H atoms in MarvinSpace

Why does MarvinSpace 5.2.5.1 not show explicit H atoms?  There should at least be an option for it.

Display - Draw type - Ligand - Hydrogenes works for me.

In standalone MarvinSpace 5.2.5.1, under Display -> Draw type -> Ligand, I see only Wire and Ball options.  In the MarvinSpace viewer, I don't have any menu options at all.

Also, when I open a new file in standalone MarvinSpace, nothing appears in the window until I click on a menu title.

We planned in the past to launch full featured mspace window from msketch, but it had very low priority. Now I set the 'due in version' tag of the related task to 5.3.1 and I also increased its priority.

The refresh problem is also a known issue, we will try to deal with that though there are nasty platform dependencies which we may not be able to resolve.

OK, that explains why it doesn't work in the MarvinSpace viewer, but I still do not see any option to show H atoms in the desktop version (5.2.6).

Is the "Drawtype" pulldown menu displayed properly? I mean, that it is fully visible (and not buried behind the draw canvas).

Now that you mention it, I do see that there are some additional menu choices below Draw Type -> and Color Type ->, but they are hidden behind the black display frame.

This problem (menus behind canvas) was reported earlier ( https://www.chemaxon.com/forum/ftopic4677.html ). Unfortunatelly no progress has been made so far.

Hi Bob,

I would like to inform you that we had to make an urgent patch release that was named 5.3.1; the feature mentioned in this topic is targeted in the patch release coming at the end of March (probably named 5.3.2).
