is there a possibility to visualize a =O group or a =NH2 group? I tried but the program always wants to add the missing atoms.

Hi,
I don't know what do you exactly mean... If you have problem with the display of implicit hydrogens, you can change it in the View > Implicit Hydrogens menu. If you want to create a Superatom (abbreviation) group on the top, you have to select the substructure, then right click > Group, and choose the superatom group type in the Create Group dialog.
If these options do not help, please specify more exactly what you need.
Thanks,
Akos

What I want to do is to draw incomplete chemical structures for example to visualize a carbonyl group in a text or a table just as =O (preferentially including the lone pairs). I need this for example when compiling a table listing auxochromes having +M and -M effects respectively.
I couldn't find a way to just draw =O or -NH2 the program wants to complete the structure adding H's or C's.
I hope this explains more clearly what I want to do.
Thanks for your input.

Switch off carbon labels: Edit->Preferences->Structure tab, choose Never in the Carbon labels section. so a simple formaldehyde will appear as =O
Lone pair visualization: View->Misc, tick Lone pairs

Thanks a lot, that does the trick for me!
