Does Marvin allow me to export structures to excel ?

Hey

I want to export a list of structures from Marvin to excel. Is there a way to do that?

If not, I would really appreciate it if you would tell me how to do it with another chemaxon product. I know JChem does it; however, I am not interested in 3D structures and it seems like it only exports the original format.

Your help would be most appreciated!

Hi Hamed,

unfortunatelly currently Marvin (neither the View application nor the Sketcher) does not support to copy and paste or export more structures in one transaction to Excel.

I saw on our Jchem for Excel forum your question about 3d->2d conversion. My colleagues will answer you about the opportunities in Jchem for Excel soon.

Until that time, i can suggest to use our molconvert script to transform your 3d molecule files to 2d before importing to Excel. You can find informations about molconvert here.
