Please see the attached figures before and after adding explicit H atoms. Note how long the Cp-Fe and allyl-Pd bonds become. There is no need to move these atoms so dramatically.

Hi Bob,
I guess the best solution would be to keep the position of the coordinate bond even after adding explicit Hydrogens to the structure.
That is what you would expect?

Yes. If the H ends up too close to the metal, move the H, not the metal.
