The attached code creates a PNG image of a molecule. With JChem 5.2.0, smarts matched ring atoms are colored red and non matched atoms are black. But in subsequent versions including 5.2.02 and 5.2.04 the atom coloring fails and the molecule is depicted normally. Methods used include MDocument.setAtomSetRGB() and MolAtom.setSetSeq(), as shown in http://www.chemaxon.com/jchem/marvin/help/developer/core/sets.html.
