Visual indicator of chiral flag being set for a molecule?

Hi,

Is there a way in MarvinView/Sketch to see a global visual indicator that the chiral flag has been set for a structure?  For example, something like the word "Chiral" appearing in the structure-rendering area?  I can't seem to find a way to do this.  I don't want to have to rely on seeing specific bond labels to tell me that the chiral flag has been set for a molecule.

Thanks very much for any advice.

Best,

Andrew

Hi,

Yes, but it is called "Absolute" in Marvin. You can switch on its display

1. In MarvinSketch: View > Stereo > Absolute Labels

2. In MarvinView: View > Misc > Absolute Labels

What JChem API can I use to retreive this flag?

Hi,

It is in the Marvin API:
