Drawing delta charges is possible in the text-box tool from Insert/Text menu item.
Delta symbol can be added in text-box after activating the greek keyboard layout and typing "d".

You can add the greek keyboard setting:
in linux: Configure Desktop --> Regional & Language --> Keyboard Layout --> Available Layouts

in Windows: Control Panel --> Regional & Language Options --> Languages --> Details --> Add..., then add the greek item from the list.
After this setting the greek language is available in the Language bar. Choose greek from the Language bar to activate it and type "d" in the text box.

Please read the paragraph How to Draw Graphic Objects and Text Boxes in the UserĀ“s guide:

Rather than changing the keyboard layout to Greek in order to type Greek characters it is possible to use the Character Map in windows.

Start->Programs->Accessories->System Tools->Character Map

Choose a font something where you will recognise the style of letters (eg Times New Roman) and then scroll down until you find the character you need.

Double click to select then click "Copy". You will then be able to past the Greek character into Marvin Sketch
