Just try the URL
http://www.chemaxon.com/marvin/examples/applets/sketch/splashscreen.html
Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V does not work.
I am using Vista (tried both 32-bit and 64-bit Ultimate).
First open a new IE browser, visit the above URL. Draw a benzene, Ctrl+A (fine), Ctrol+C, takes a while and see a warning dialog about (a program will open outside the protected mode,...). Say allow. Ctrol+V, nothing happens, ctrl+c ctrl+v, nothing happens, ctrl+A broke.
Now SHIFT+reload IE page. Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V works now. ...
Close the IE, start a new IE, same problem, reproducible.

Hi,
We could not reproduce this bug, we assume that it might related to the OLE server, please try to delete the browser, and jre cache (see the http://www.chemaxon.com/forum/ftopic556.html about deleting the jre cache)
If the problem still exists, please send us the following informations:
- Marvin version number
- IE security settings, and version number
- Java version
- The output in the java console, if there is any error or exception there
Regards,
Istvan

We have tested applet on similar platform but we could not find any problem:
Windows Vista 32bit ,IE7.0.6000.16830 (security settings are the same)
You did not give your Java version. We have tested it with Java 1.6.0_12.
Is Windows firewall enabled on your machine?
Is Marvin Beans installed to your machine? Please check whether Marvin OLE server is activated.
You can do it by selecting Edit/Preferences menu and choose the OLE Server panel on the displaying dialog. If an URL displays on this panel, it gives the location of the registered OLE server. If not, it means that OLE server is not available. OLE server is required to be able to copy editable Marvin (OLE) object into Office documents.
On the "Copy" panel of the same dialog, you can check in which flavours the molecule is placed to the clipboard. Would you share this setting too with us?
Have you find any error message on the Java console?
You mentioned that you have tried with Marvin 5.2.0. The URL that you have sent point to the latest Marvin. Currently, it is 5.2.1.1. If you check now the examples on the site (http://www.chemaxon.com/marvin/examples/applets/sketch/), the applet that displays in your browser should be 5.2.1.1. If the running applet's version is earlier, it means that an earlier version is still in the cache. (You can check the applet's version number by selecting the "About MarvinSketch" menu item from the Help menu of the applet.) In this case, please clear Java cache and restart browser.

Java 1.6.0-b105. I re-register OLE, same behavior. I turn off firewall, same.
I will check with other computers later.

It seems one has to check "Don't ask me again", when prompted the dialog says "a program will open outside the protected mode ...". That seems solve the problem.
