Customized atom labels and implicit hydrogens

Is it possible to write in custom atom labels such that I may have NMeEt etc?

Also when i wish to abbreviate a molecules with symmetry by drawing the monomer group inside numbered brackets, any groups outwith the brackets are not recognized correctly - eg when drawing tris(2-aminoethyl)amine with the central N outside the brackets. Obviously the ability to have custom labels or a way to switch of implicit hydrogens for certain atoms would fix this.

thanks

Hi,

Several superatoms are included in the abbreviated groups, which are available by typing their abbreviation, or through the Insert > Groups menu.

In addition, you can create your own superatom S-groups (see the documentation: http://www.chemaxon.com/marvin/help/sketch/sketch-basic.html#howto-draw.sgroups) , and if you define the attachment point on it, then add to the MyTemplates, it becomes available among the abbreviated groups, so you can place the later even by typing it over an atom.

For refernce, I created the tris(2-aminoethyl)amine for you, please find attached.

Best regards,

Akos
