Hi, i'm a Mac user and i need to know about the compatibility of marvinsketch with powerpoint (for mac); When i draw a molecule and copy it on powerpoint it seems compatible..but not really compatible, or there's something i do wrong.. I usually draw a rectangle on the molecule and color it (sending it to back); but when i copy it in powerpoint i can't see the molecule and opening the image properties (in powerpoint menu) i can only control and change the border of the rectangle, but not the filling..

Is there anyone Mac user using marvinsketch and Powerpoint that could help me??

Is it a problem of compatibility of the programs or can i do something??

Sorry for my english..i'm italian!

Thanks!

Can you send snapshoots about your MarvinSketch (with drawn molecule) and about your PowerPoint with copy result?

Giving some details about your software environment (OS X and PowerPoint version) would be also useful.

Indeed, the structure is invisible on the copied image if a colored rectangle is in the background. We will investigate the issue.

I can recommend the following workaround:

Draw the structure without rectangle and set molecule background to the required color.

After then select all and copy.

In this case, only the relevant part of the canvas will be copied.
