Replacing atoms

17-02-2005 19:54:28

Hello,

Is there a way to replace some atoms shown on the top part of Marvin applets? For example, I'd like to load it with the atom 'P' there replaced by 'B', and '+' and '-' replaced by 'Any'.

Thanks,

You can not replace the "P", "+","-",... buttons with others.

I suggest to add your buttons as extra templates to the menu. Create an SD file with your atoms ("P" and "Any") then set the "xtmpls" to refer to this file. http://www.chemaxon.com/marvin/doc/dev/sketchman.html#parameters.xtmpls

The new buttons will display in front of the default templates (Cyclopentane, Pyrrol, etc.) on the toolbar.

The following example demonstrates how to use extra templates: http://www.chemaxon.com/marvin/doc/dev/example-sketch2.html
