Valid structures shown as dot, CH2 and CH3

Hi,

using all isomers for a given molecular formula and viewing them with Mview is quite comfortable and fast, but for certain chemically allowed structural isomers which Marvin 5.0.1 can not render it shows either dots, CH2 or CH3.

This is probably not a high priority problem but I submitted it already some years ago, so here is the new description with possible sources.

All C10H10 isomers created with SMOG2.

See the attached picture. Another problem is during calculation of different

properties, the view is also messed up.

Maybe the structure can be shown as a dot only or as message

"No render possible" or any other solution. I am not sure how you

could catch that problem, because given a correct template the structure

could be shown in a correct way. Thats why I just send it FYI.

This is Marvin 5.0.1

Cheers

Hi Tobias,

In MarvinView 5.1.2. the structures of the isomers are displayed correctly both in the 10x10 molecule matrix and on the result window of the topology analysis. See the attached snapshots.

Best regards,
