MarvinSketch firewall issue?

We have a client trying to access our SureChem Portal (www.surechem.org) who is experiencing a problem we have not seen before. Using IE6, he can load the MarvinSketch applet, but when he clicks on search he gets sent right back to our opening search page, rather than a page with query results. He is not getting any log output in his Java Console. In your experience is this possibly due to a firewall blocking MarvinSketch from submitting a query to our SureChem servers?

surechem portal worked for me fine with Firefox 2, 3 and IE 6, 7, the code seems correct.


The firewall may make a redirect, but it is not a correct way, because marvin Applet is signed.


The client should contact her/him system administrator to inform this rule.
