When I am clicking on the menu bar for "view" or "help" or any button on top of the screen when using marvinsketch, the program freezes for about 30 seconds to a minute and unfreezes. It works fine for a few minutes then it loads again forever. Please help me fix this problem. Thank you

Do you use MarvinSketch application under OS X?
If yes, it is the same problem that is described in this topic:
Error launching MarvinSketch.
The error is not in Marvin. It is a general OS X issue. We try to find a workaround for this problem.

This problem will be fixed in version 5.1.3, which is going to be released probably on Friday.

what a relief ... I really like working with these programs but it was a little hard to work so fast all the time before it slowed down :) ...

I still have his problem with 5.1.03 all the time. Mac OS X 10.5.5 on a MacBook Pro.
I only seems to appear when I try to use the "Insert" menu which becomes inaccessible even if I wait. I can't use the software at presnet

Do you have problem only with the Insert menu, or with others as well?

I have the same problem with a very slow Insert-menu.
