Install issues with Marvin 5.0.3

I downloaded the installer marvinbeans-5.03-windows.exe


Ran the installer it stops with the following message:


c:\program files\chemaxon\marvinbeans\lib\looks-2.1.4.jar


Could not create this file. shall I try again?


Yes No Cancel





I can't get past this bit.





Any ideas?


I've tried the obvious stuff I think restart etc.





Tried downloading the full version with jre and it worked.


I should have had the jre installed fine.

This problem may occur if the installer could not remove the previous version of Marvin Beans.


This problem also appears if you don't have privilege to write into the mentioned directory.


The uninstallation of the previous Marvin version can fail if someone blocks one or more files in the directory.


E.g. any Marvin application from that directory runs on your machine when you try to install the new one.


I suggest to close all application and launch uninstaller of previous Marvin Beans, manually.
