Scrolling wheel for zooming

I'm new to Mspace but would like to make a suggestion. I noticed that it is possible to change the mouse control configuration, which is great. But since most if not all mice today have a scrolling wheel as the middle button, it would make sence to use this for zooming by truely scrolling (i.e. rolling the wheel) rather than having to hold it down and move the whole mouse.

thank you for the useful suggestion.


Currently we use the mouse wheel to move the nearer clipping plane, but this is not a frequently used function, and indeed it is a bit uncomfortable to zoom with the "middle button" escpecially with an Apple mouse.


We will change this behavior in the near future and keep you informed about this.
