i want to use marvinsketch to draw reactions for a protocol.

i want to have the reaction in simple lewis form. if i use clean 2d marvin alligns everithing fine but the angles bonds are changed. is there any possibility to clean my reactions so that all reaction arrows are alligned and all products and educts are on one line with the "+" operators.

thx

Hi,

It is not really clean for me if you want to align only the molecules somehow for a lewis acid base reaction? If I understand well you want the molecules untouched.

Could you attach an image of your expectation?

Thank you

Hi Nicolas,

Cleaning in Marvin means to rearrange the bond angles and lengths in chemical structures (in 2D or 3D) to result in as much optimal structures as possible. You probably are looking for a kind of aligning feature, which, unfortunately, does not exist in Marvin.
