Safari 3, Firefox 2

Your Notes to Mac users mentions Safari 2.0 and Firefox 1.5, but not Safari 3.0 or Firefox 2.0. Any word on whether they have been validated with MarvinSketch?





I can tell you that Safari 3 has a bug that prevents the buttons in ACE from working properly. I can also tell you that all MacOS 10.4 and above users are being forced to upgrade Safari to 3.0 when they do their security patches.

We have not test Safari 3 but we will complete it.

We could not reproduce this bug. We have tested Marvin and all the examples on the home page and they have worked properly.

The bug we have experienced was not in Marvin, but in ACE.

Sorry, I have misunderstood that. But we have tested Marvin in Safari 3 and all our exapmles worked correctly. We have updated the documentation of the next release (5.0.1).





If you send us a simple code where a similar bug occures or we find the bug you mentioned, we will check it and find a solution.
