When I paste the following smiles into MarvinView/MarvinSketch, the structure always looks ugly no matter how I clean it using Marvin "clean 2D" function.

Is there any way to make it look pretty?

"Clean 2D" function now looks much better!
Version 5 you mentioned will be released in autumn. Do you have any estimated date? I cannot wait to use this version as we have a bunch of twisted structures to be fixed...

I thought the latest version is version 5.0, but it's 4.1.14. Anyway, is this "clean 2D" problem fixed in the latest release?

Hi,
No, the new clean 2D feature will be implemented only in the 5.0 version. We released the first 5.0beta yesterday; you can try this out here:
http://www.chemaxon.com/devel/marvin/index.html
The final release is scheduled to Tuesday.
