Our company, Reel Two, is partnered with ChemAxon and uses MarvinSketch in our chemical patent search portal,
www.surechem.org. When we first started using MarvinSketch several months ago I encountered some problems getting it to run in the then-latest release of FireFox. I have just migrated to a new computer running Firefox 2.0 on Windows Vista. When I try to load either
www.surechem.org or the online demo of MarvinSketch at
www.chemaxon.com Firefox freezes and I have to terminate the session. Has anyone else reported this behavior with either Firefox 2.0 or Vista (note - I did not have this problem with Firefox 2.0 running Windows XP, so I believe it's the Vista/Firefox combination. I can load both Marvin with no problem using Internet Explorer.

Nobody has reported this problem yet.
I could not reproduce this problem. Marvin examples work fine for me on Vista (Windows Vista Business, Firefox 2.0.0.4, Java 1.6.0_02)
Can you give more information about this freezing? Which Java version do you use? Have you got any special security settings on your Vista?
Try to clear Java cache. Probably, it helps. See this topic:
How I can clear JRE cache

I managed to get Marvin Sketch working with Firefox by downloading and installing the Marvin Beans package. I did not need to do this before when using Marvin and WinXP, so I'm not sure if this was due to new security protocals in WinVista or whether I had followed a different install procedure before. In any case, if you do get this behavior reported by other users, this is a possible fix.
