How to create formulas containing mesomerism?

Hey,

I'm sorry for the translation, I don't know the english version exactly. To draw the both meso structures of benzene for example, I want to create to rings containing three double bonds, enclosed by square brackets with a double-direction arrow between them.

Is there a comfortbale way to do so in marvinsketch? Especially for use in reaction equation, so that marvin doesn't put a "+" between the meso-formulas?

And, another problem: I need to draw some reaction mechanisms. Therefor, I need to insert multiple reaction arrows. Is it possible to do so without having the last drawed arrow disappear?

Thanks for help!

If I understand your question well, you might examine graphic tools in the Insert menu. You can find there double-headed graphic arrows for mesomers, and single-headed ones for drawing multistep reactions.

Additionally, we provide electron flow arrows, which might be useful for representing mechanisms.

No graphical brackets are available at the moment, but will come in Marvin 5.0 soon.

Thanks for your help, I will play around a bit with those arrows.
