Correcting default abbreviated groups ....

I found an error in the representation of CoA in the default abbreviated groups ... changing the entry in default.abbrevgroup doesn't seem to affect the group representation by itself .. also, it is not clear that the newer versions of Marvin (4.1.7) use this file? ... Is there another path to correct or edit the default groups .... Thanks - Manton

Hello, thanks, apparently the SH part is missing - thank you for reporting.


As about editing the default.abbrevgroups file: it is bundled in the MarvinBeans.jar file, so if you want to edit it, you have to:





- i) unpack MarvinBeans.jar into an empty directory


- ii) change default.abbrevgroups


- iii) delete files related to signing (delete META-INF/CHEMAXON.* and edit META-INF/MANIFEST.MF) see the mentioned topic about it.


- iv) zip the whole bunch again as MarvinBeans.jar
