enhancement request: numbered graphical arrows

We would like to be have each graphical arrow (MPolyline) unambiguously associated with a unique number. The number would appear just above or below the midpoint of the graphical arrow.





Already you give each MPolyline object an ID number, so implementing this request would just be a matter of being able to show these ID numbers in the Marvin window.





We would like this feature so that students can say, The reaction indicated by arrow 1 uses these reagents, the reaction indicated by arrow 3 uses these reagents, etc. Yes, we can use textboxes to write numbers near arrows, but it introduces ambiguity when a textbox is close to two arrows or close to none.

Hello, it is there are a feature request but I can not really promise as we are inundated with new features to include. If it is vital for some reason, we can give a higher priority.

I know you're frantic with other features, and it probably doesn't need to be included in the very next Marvin release, but it would be nice if you could include it in the next bugfix release after that.
