When I draw a two-electron electron-flow arrow to an incipient bond, I like the way the head of the arrow no longer jumps to the middle of the bond; instead, it points closer to the atom that is receiving the electrons.
However, it is more appropriate for one-electron electron-flow arrows to point to the middle of the bond, because two arrows coming from opposite directions both need to contribute electrons to the bond.
Would it be possible to differentiate the behavior of the two-electron and one-electron electron-flow arrows?
