Cannot generate secondary alkyl by defining as an R group

Dear all,

I found MarvinSketch is unable to generate secondary alkyl if it is defined as an R group.

As carbon number goes large, it is quite time-consuming to check all of these. Is there any method to remedy this?

Hi Tony,

In  homology enumeration we use a predefined dictionary. With homology properties you simply filter this dictionary.

If you want to see only secondary C1-5 alkyls the best you can do to define a manually an R-group containing samall secondary alkyls only or you can define a custom horology group.
