Hi,
The below page shows a bracketed water molecule with an assigned multiplicity of 1.2:
https://www.chemaxon.com/products/compound-registration/
The page states "Multiplicities different from 1 are depicted with brackets having their multiplicity as the bracket index."
Can you please describe how to do such bracket-index assignment in MarvinSketch? I haven't been able to figure it out.
Many thanks,
Andrew

Dear Andrew,
unfortunately MarvinSketch does not support fractional multiplicity. However, is possible to draw it: graphical brackets (Tool toolbar/ blue square brackets) and textbox will do the trick.
Sorry for the inconvenience,
Best regards,

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. Are there any tools you are aware of that support fractional multiplicities? Or was the example on the web page hypothetical?
Thanks,
Andrew

Hi,
Compound Registration handles fractional multiplicity, it has a specified tool for that, it is not introduced via MarvinSketch.
The fractional multiplicity support is among our future plans, though we focus on other new features at the moment. We will keep you updated in due course.
Thank you for your understanding.
Best regards,
Nikolett
