Hello,
If there are several R groups (e.g. R1, R2, R3...etc) and they can all
be defined as the same groups (e.g. R1, R2, R3 = H, alkyl, aryl) is
there a way to list it that way in Marvin sketch or must each R group be
defined individually? I have many R groups to define in each reaction I am drawing and it would be more convenient to be able to define a few R groups at once in the cases where they can be defined as the same groups.
I am using Marvin Sketch 16.7.8 if that is of any significance.

Dear Nande,
Unfortunately we don't have a list creating tool in MarvinSketch.
However, you can copy/paste R group definitions. In that case you will have your molecules twice in the original definition, but after selection you can define a new R for the selected molecules. If you have the same definition for different R-groups (R1,R2...), you can use the same R number.
If you have your reactions in different files the copy/paste after selection is the quickest solution.
Please feel free to contact us if you need any further information.
