Does anybody have a hint how to draw a generic nucleofile (Nu- with a lone pair) in Marvin-Sketch.
In Chemdraw one can write "Nu" and add a charge and a lone pair manually. however, in Marvin Sketch I tried several things, but did not have any sucess...
Thanks,
Udo

Hi,
Here are two ways to do that all start with the following: place a C on canvas, from the context menu select and add charge, then again from context menu select Label Editor, write the label and tick Alias.
1. As a global display option: switching on Loan Pair display (View/Advanced/Loan Pairs) will show loan pairs
2. For local display select Radical/Divalent Singlet from context menu
See the attached mrv.
Hth, regards
