Bug on OLE objects

Hi,

I downloaded and installed the latest version of Marvin Beans this morning : 15.10.19.0 64bits

With this version I was not able to copy/paste a structure in a MS word document. Exactly, A large OLE object is created in MS Word BUT with no depicted structure. When you double click on the object, marvin sketch open with the structure in.

I came back to my previous version (14.12.1.0 64 bits), no problems.

Cheers,

Lionel

Hello Lionel,

Thank you for reporting this issue. I would like to ask the version of JAVA, MS Word and the Operation system. It would be also a great help if you could send us a screenshot of the About dialog of MarvinSketch (Help menu).

Thank you,

Efi

Hi Efi,

My JAVA version on my navigator is Version 8 Update 25, but I do not see the link with Marvin as Java is included in MArvin Beans (no?).

I am on Windows 7 and I have MS Office small enterprise 2013.

I cannot give you the screenshot as I deleted the latest version of Marvin to come back to the previous one.

Cheers,

Lionel

Hi Lionel,

To be frank, we could still not reproduce the issue.

May I ask you to install the Marvin with the bundled jre please?

https://www.chemaxon.com/download/marvin-suite/#mbeans (Installer + JRE (.exe) 32 bit) It should work on your 64 bit enviroment.

And let us know whether it works that way.

Thank you for your help,

Efi

Hi Efi,

I reinstall the 64 bit version and stil have the problem. I attach a doc file with 2 screen shot of Marvin and the result in word.

As advice, I install the 32 bit version with java bundle, and no problem.

Cheers,

Lionel

Hi Lionel,

I am glad that at least the version with the  bundled java works and thank you very much, for all of the info.

Best regards,

Efi
