Since the version of MarvinSuite one before 15.10.12 the strange error message pops up when clicking on Edit/Preferences. After OK preferences shows up.
Any idea.
Using Linux 64 bit and Java bundled with Marvin Suite.

R-group reference error checker was deprecated quite a while ago, and it was removed from Marvin/JChem 15.10.05 version. It was replaced by these three checkers:
What should you do?
Simply remove R-group reference error checker from your structure checker configuration, and replace it with the 3 checkers mentioned above. If you don't need them all then use just the ones you want.
