Hello All,

I am having problems using the elctron flow function. Whenever I try to use it, the arrow simply does not show up. Any thoughts?

How do I insert electron flow arrows in MarvinSketch?

The latest version of MarvinSketch was installed in 64-bit Windows 10 pro (build 10586) with 32-bit Java version 8 update 66. After I draw a structure, then do Insert, Electron Flow, nothing happens and the Marvinsketch window freezes. If I choose another tool, the Insert menu disappears and structure editing can continue.

If you download Marvin 15.11.23 from the Marvin archive, the electron-flow arrows seem to work OK. At least, they do on my Mac. You can choose an archived version at the bottom of the download page.

Thank you. Stand-alone curved arrows, and the electron flow curved arrow function, now work - so far as I have tested - with this version of MarvinSketch. BTW, this is a Win10 64-bit system running Java 32-bit version 8 update 66 (the latest as of today).

URGENT! Would this bug have affected JChem Web Services 15.12.14 as well? And exactly in what version has the bug been fixed?

The fix was released in version 16.1.18.

JChem Web Services 15.12.14 were not affected by this bug.

Sorry, what about 16.1.4? The reason I ask is that when we try to acquire an MRV from Marvin JS when the drawing contains an electron-flow arrow, we get a bad request error. See this post. I can't help but think that this error is related to the previously reported one.
