Nonselected brackets are copied as well

Hey guys!

 

Got a small but a little bit annoying problem. May someone help me?

If a draw a structure in Marvin Sketch and want to reuse it, i´ll copy it. So i select the structure press ctrl + c and then ctrl + p. This works fine. But if there are any brackets on the screen that i´d painted before, they will be copied as well. It doesn´t matter if i´ve selected them or not. Brackets are replicated all the time.

unfortunatelly we did not fix the issue until now, and I am still not able to give you a schedule about the fix, it is on our TODO list, but it was not prioritized to solve it in the short term yet.

Does it happens frequently that you need to draw the brackets but do not copy them? Can you help us understand the severity of this issue in your workflows?

thank you for your answer. This problem is permanent. 

I often have to paint mechanism. So i´ve to paint brackets in a lot of pictures several times. These are only steps in my workflow. Brackets were not be needed in every line. 

I hope the attached jpg will help you to understand where the problem exactly is.

   We have found a possible way to fix your issue, that will be release in 15.3.30. If the issue still not acceptable in that or any subsequent release, please do not hesitate to inform us.

Dear bzaicsek,

today i updated the software to 15.3.30.

The problem is fixed. Brackets aren´t copied anymore if i don´t want to do it.

But now the software is super laggy. Each action needs about 2-3 sec. Looks like slowmotion.

yes, unfortunatelly we made some mistakes that lead to performance issues, the performance issue seems to be fixed in the upcoming 15.4.6 release which will be published most likely within a few hours.

first of all, thank you for your fast and good support! I tried the new version. Jupp, much better. But Marvin Sketch still doesn´t have the same performance that it has bevor 15.3.30. The software is still a bit laggy. But i´m able to deal with it at the moment. Something went wrong?

we still have some parts to optimize, in a few iterations we will be able to do it as it stands now. I would not go into deep details, but we started using new components and replaced some logic, to be able to implement new features in the future, and some of these changes cause the performance problems that we are currently optimizing.
