How to draw "half" atoms?

Hello together,

I don't recall the exact chemical phrase - but what I want to have is something like Cu1/2 --> a half copper.

This would be helpful when having multiple bulky ligands connected to the same copper atom, as using the parenthesis in MarvinSketch isn't very appropriate for such a situation (because of the automatic - hence false - positioning of the brackets).

I tried creating Superatom-groups etc. -> but they won't allow for such subscripts (only numbers will be sub - "/" or "." will be normal font)?

Any ideas?

Hello there,

I'd suggest making an Alias atom over the Cu, with the following formatted text : Cu\s1/2 . The following text after the \s will become subscript. Alias functionality can be found on the Periodic Table -> Advanced tab, in the lowest section.

However, bear in mind, that this will not be calculated as a half Cu in calculations.

I hope this is what you meant, if not please, do not hesitate to ask.
